Plastic Planet 硬膠星
Modified Toy Orchestra

The Modified Toy Orchestra takes discarded sound produced by electronic toys and converts them into strange and unique musical instruments. Exploiting the latent potential previously hidden inside these abandoned playthings, they perform live electronic music using only these modified toys without the aid of computers, samplers, midi or any conventional instruments at all.

The Modified Toy Orchestra is concerned with revealing a world normally hidden from the human senses, yet the processes they used to touch upon are themes such as built in obsolescence, technological redundancy and the constant desire for the next new gadget
