Future, it seems so close, yet so far.
Future can be exploration to the outer space; and is also our lives of next day.
It is not just about looking forward; by referring backward, our future deepened with insight.

CouCou on MARS is a daring adventure, and also an archeology of the future; from what we dreamed up in the past, to what we are envisioning now. It can be sci-fi, and it can also be very basic to our lives and our hearts!

Riding on the experiment of the previous project - Digital Hug, GayBird brings forward his idea of "New Instrument for New Music". In addition to exploring on interface design and programming for new musical instruments, GayBird also re-constructs and revitalizes century-old futuristic instruments for performing his contemporary music. Through the interfacing and sensor technology, real-time triggers of sound, lights, mechatronics, stage installation and video visuals, offers audience a new dimension of visual music experience.

若然未來提早發生，過去亦不再一樣

未來，既遠且近。
遠去太空探索，近至展望在明天。
過去透現將來，歡迎一同回到未來。

《火星日常》是前瞻冒險，亦是未來考古；
回溯昨日，探尋未曾發生的未來想像，又同時混雜今日異想關懷，
未來可以是科幻空想，亦可以是復現基本。
科技沒有那麼遠，音樂從來這麼近。

繼《電紫兔／克》，梁基爵進一步推展實驗，研發新樂器新音樂的同時，亦重新建構看似科幻其實古遠的樂器，結合介面技術，感應系統，聯動聲音、燈光、機械、舞台裝置與映像，引領觀眾進入另一視覺音樂軌跡。

GayBird 梁基爵
Leung Kei-cheuk, aka GayBird, with professional training in music composition and electro-acoustic music at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. He has been actively involving in Hong Kong pop music industry, and also a core member the music company PMPS. In recent years, he has began his venture in new media art experiment and completed his Master study at the City University of Hong Kong in 2011, specialized his research and creation in human control interface design and the interactivity of live music performance with application of media technology. His previous project - Digital Hug (2011) has received critical acclaims widely. The production was awarded Hong Kong Design Award 2011 Bronze Award for new media experiment/performance. GayBird was awarded Best Electronic Music Artist at the Chinese Music Media Awards 2012 for the album of same title, and also awarded for the Ten Outstanding Designers Awards 2012 from the Hong Kong Art and Design Festival. In 2012, Digital Hug has toured to MaD Forum (HK), Open Box Series by Macao Cultural Centre (Macau), FILE – Electronic Language International Festival (Sao Paulo, Brazil), Cloud Adventure - 2012 Digital Performing Arts Festival (Kaohsiung and Taipei), and has just toured to EXIT Festival 2013 at MAC (Paris, France). '

於香港演藝學院 研習作曲及電子樂音於2008年獲音樂碩士。活躍於流行樂壇，為「人山人海」主要成員。近年積極探索新媒體藝術，2011年於香港城市大學創意媒體學院完成哲學碩士課程，其間研究有關介面控制設計、與現場互動音樂的種種可能。同年創作了新媒體音樂演出《電紫兔/克》，並推出音樂專集《Digital Hug》。憑此作品分別獲香港設計師協會「環球設計大奬2011」銅獎、華語音樂傳媒大獎2012「最佳電子藝人」，及香港傳藝節頒發之「十大傑出設計師大獎2012」。作品大獲好評，更巡演至澳門、巴西聖保羅、高雄、台北及法國巴黎。

UA （ウーア） (日本Japan)
Kaori Hasegawa, a singer-song writer from Japan.
"UA" means flower in the Swahili language.
In 1995, UA released her debut album. Her well-known songs include "passion", "Sad Johny" and "Milk Tea". UA has released albums in the name of the band AJICO (project of UA with Kenichi Asai) and has also collaborated with Composer / Saxophonist, Kikuchi Naruyoshi respectively. In 2005, UA has also participated in an experimental media art + music project - "path", which is a collaboration project with musician / producer - Uchihashi Kazuhisa and media artist / director - Takayuki Fujimoto. In addition to music performance, UA has performed in movies, such as Woman of Water, and Dainipponjin. In April 2010, she released her first live recording album - "HARUTO LIVE", and in June released her 15th anniversary album "KABA". Since 2005, UA moved to suburb

長谷川 歌織。創作歌手。"UA" 是斯瓦希里語，是「花」的意思。
1995年出道，擁有《情熱》、《悲傷的 JOHNY》、《MILK TEA》等大熱歌曲作品。曾組成樂隊 AJICO 及以 UAX菊地成孔合作等推出聯合作品。以她的鮮明獨特個性及聲線吸引不少日本歌迷，她的風格界乎於另類與主流之間。曾於2005年參與另類媒體音樂實驗－《path》演出中與音樂人內橋和久及新媒體藝術家藤本隆行合作。她亦曾參與電影《水之女》、《大日本人》等演出。2010年4月發表其首張現場錄音大碟《HARUTO LIVE》，6月發表了出道15周年企劃大碟《KABA》。自2005年起遠離城市，遷至鄉間的田舍實踐農村生活，致力推動環境保護及祈願和平的活動。
